Words for the Week + Weekly Wishes #10

May 20, 2014

love life, friendsWoah. It’s been a hot minute for Weekly Wishes. Life gets in the way and neglecting goals can happen. Not the greatest excuse, but that’s where we are, friends. I’ve started to enjoy a more relaxed down-time schedule, which I definitely think has its advantages, but ultimately, I’m a creature of habit. I crave structure. {Listen to me –  same words I hear from my toddler’s teachers… but there lies the truth!}

Whether you just move with the wind or try to control that weather vane to the best of your abilities {and then just swing it to point North}, just enjoy it. Love me some life and all the chaos and silly moments that flood it. Those are the days you’ll remember. So, on with it already. Here are my goals for this week in the lusty month of May.

lastweekwishes

+Winning the Molar War: Houston, we have molars!

+Mileage: It was for 8. Squashed it.

+Find my next book: Done and done. Always on the search for the next best thing.

Weekly Wishes :: #EatSleepMarket
+Finishing gathering everything for an upcoming trip … Procrastinating big time.

+Figure out a quick and easy way to record my running time and mileage. I just can’t get on board with these online journals. I may have to break down and get a notebook … because that’s just me. Anyone have any tips??

+Send a note to my closest girl friends and remind them of how special they are to me. I’m a fan of loving on my gf’s {and anyone else who I adore, really} so this will and should be easy. Just taking the time out to do it can be the challenge, but it’s so worth it in the end. They deserve it.

+MAKE THIS. Truth be told, I have ZERO clue when I’ll have the time but I’ll figure it out. He loves lemon. M loves yogurt. I love rosemary. Destiny is calling.

    Hello and its so nice to meet you! I behind you on the Weekly Wishes blog. I love your goals. I always wait till the last minute to get ready for a trip. Then at the last minute, I am running with my head cut off because I forgot something. So I wish you all the luck in the world on that goal. *I’m cheering for you* You Can Do It!!!!!!

    For your second goal, you might have to break out that paper and pencil. On my Apple nano, I have a Nike app that will time me but I’m not sure if it records mileage. I will check in the morning and let you know. That might be the other way.

    As a card maker, I absolute love your third goal. Your friends have to love that you do that for them. I hope the appreciate you too. If you want, I have a couple of cards I can give to you that would really blow their minds if you want. Totally up to you and no charge. I’m like you, I too like to do nice things for others. So let me know.

    For your fourth goal, go for it. That cake looks so goooood! I might have to try making that myself. *now I’m thinking about that*, maybe I will ask my sister to make that. She is the baker not me, lol.

    Your blog is great, by the way.

    Hope to hear back from you!

      Thank you for your sweet comments! I think I did fairly okay with my goals 🙂 Did you find out about the Nike app? I’m thinking a hand-written journal may be the way to go for me. Love the card idea – maybe we could do something together with these!
      Hope you had a fantastic weekend!

        Hello Anne!! The app does keep track of your numbers and a whole bunch of other stuff. You can even compete with a friend for some friendly competition. Its free, you should give it a try. If that fails, then a hand-written journal would work.

        Yes for the cards, just let me know what you are thinking and lets make this happen.

        I didn’t see your weekly wishes this week. Did I miss it?

        Have a great week as well!
