I’m enjoying an unusually quiet Saturday afternoon in my house today….and I love it! With the babe taking a nap and the hubbs handling “car stuff”, I’m presented a few moments were I can quickly get my thoughts out on my digital “paper” and check out my fellow SEM blogger posts from the past week. First, a quick question – Where did this week go? As I pulled out of work yesterday, I said out loud to myself, “Didn’t I just get here?” Nope…no…that was about 9 hours ago. Sheesh! Anywho, the weekend is well underway and with that said, I would like to present my top five week highlights. Drum roll please….
1. Instragram introduced “Photos of You”, which allows users to be tagged in photos. Great idea! And it’s incredibly simple. Just tap the photo, tag the photo, and voila! The user tagged gets the notification and can choose to have that image show up in their profile or keep it hidden.
2. Twitter announced on….Twitter…an update to the iOS and Android applications. Now you can view trends from around the world and tailor them to suite your interests.
3. Have you ever had a fear of being locked out of our Facebook account with no way to get back in? If so, I’m sorry that’s a fear….but don’t worry! Let your friends help you get back in!
4. Beef up that LinkedIn profile by including videos and photos that showcase your skills.
5. Pinterest reminds you of the search functionality…which piqued my interest and curiosity of why they are reminding users of this spot. Great tool and definitely wondering if there is something on the horizon…or perhaps I’m just doing wishful thinking/over thinking (SEOs – thoughts??)
