The Next Chapter

April 13, 2016

Regardless if she is single or partnered, with or without children, with one job forever or embarking on her fifth adventure, a woman’s life evolves rapidly, writing chapter after chapter after chapter. And before long, her in-progress memoir compiled an innumerable amount of pages. Lessons learned. Loses and gains. Happiness and tragedies. It’s beautiful. No part of her world would remain unchanged as life moves on. And as one chapter closes, another opens.

I’m ready to move to the next chapter … in the blog world. Welcome to oopsie doopsie, lovingly dedicated to my family and friends. The posts will be filled with fun, love, frustrations and things just happening.

The idea to move the blog to a new name {and a new direction} wasn’t something that suddenly came to me one night. I will write out the process soon, but for now, I will say that it was something that I thought about since Madeline turned two. She is now three and a half. Yes, it was a process for me. It’s not the same for everyone, but I wasn’t sure what direction this needed to go. My head and heart were fighting. In the end, heart always wins {in my book}.

I moved over past content from eat. sleep. market. and will continue to house all things digital marketing in a separate space within oopsie doopsie. I’m still in love with that part of my life, but a bigger part of me is occupied by my night life: family, friends, food, photos and {sometimes} friendly diy. Therefore, the struggle comes to an end. Weight, you can jump down off the shoulders.

What does that mean for you, my friend reading this and joining me in my little corner on the internet? My hope is to be more transparent. A bit more feeling. Still quirky and random at times, but hopefully more intentional. We can agree, disagree, relate or have no idea what the other is feeling. All of it is welcome with open arms!

Welcome to oopsie doopsie!
